This year your vote is more important than ever. Voting is one of the best ways to make sure your voice is heard. Communities of color tend to vote by mail less. Maybe due to a historical attachment to voting in person, or living in a community that cannot trust their mail service. Don’t let your voice go unheard, register to vote by October 19th.
How to Register
Registering to vote is easy and will only take you a few minutes. You’ll need your driver’s license and social security numbers.
- To register online visit: registertovote.ca.gov.
- If you would like to register using a paper voter registration application, you can pick one up at your county elections office, library, Department of Motor Vehicles offices, or U. S. Post Office. It is important that your voter registration application be filled out completely and be postmarked or hand-delivered to your county elections office at least 15 days before the election.
