If you’re getting together with people who don’t live in your home, you must follow a few basic rules:
- Wear a Mask
- Stay Six Feet apart
- If you can, quarantine for two weeks before gathering
You’ve heard it all before, six-feet, wear a mask, quarantine. When you see your friends, and people who don’t live with you, you’re putting those you do live with at risk.
As you plan your gathering, try to get an idea of the crowd, are people going to wear masks? Are they willing to stay outside? Will they remain six-feet apart? If you feel that your friends and family aren’t receptive to mask-wearing and distancing, talk to them with compassion. Tell them the facts as you understand them and remind them you wear a mask to protect your loved ones.
